I’m a Social Media and Communications Lead who specializes in community-centered communications with multiple entry points. I spend all my free time on Instagram and TikTok so that I can meet your audience where they’re at and bring them to you.
I run campaigns that are grounded in community.
A regional visibility and acquisition campaign that 1) reclaims Appalachia as a region that values abortion access, trans liberation, and bodily autonomy in response to increasing political attacks on health care across the region and 2) establishes the Women’s Health Center of Maryland as an affirming reproductive and sexual health care clinic that provides compassionate care, including abortion and gender-affirming hormone therapy, to ALL.
OUR APPALACHIA
I directed campaign creative strategy, ensuring that the imagery and messaging matched the intended warm, inviting tone. I also had a hand in content creation, crafting the social media toolkit, campaign emails, and landing pages.
In one month of billboards and social media, Google Search, and radio ads, the Our Appalachia campaign has resulted in 2.15K% increase in reach and 188% increase in followers across the Women’s Health Center of Maryland’s social media platforms as well as 3 new gender-affirming hormone therapy patients and the highest numbers of abortion patients the clinic has seen. An extension of it, targeting college campuses specifically, ran late August/early September.

LET’S TALK HARM REDUCTION
A monthly educational video series developed in partnership with the Women’s Health Center of West Virginia Harm Production Program Coordinator that breaks down the stigma surrounding harm reduction by diving into the movement’s history, philosophies, and approaches.
Together, the Women’s Health Center of West Virginia Harm Reduction Program Coordinator and I schedule topics based on what else is going on any given month—for example, we decided on a masking video to coincide with the 2025 back-to-school season. They write the first drafts of the scripts, which I copy edit, and film the videos with approved scripts. I then edit the videos, write the captions, and engage with comments.
This series regularly performs above average on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, facilitating conversations, prompting longer-than-average view times among followers and non-followers alike, and bringing in new followers.

An annual fundraising campaign for the WHC Choice Fund, the Women’s Health Centers' of West Virginia and Maryland’s in-clinic abortion fund, conducted during Fund-a-Thon, the largest nationwide grassroots fundraising campaign for abortion funds hosted by the National Network of Abortions Funds.
WHC CHOICE FUND PET MASCOT CONTEST
Inspired by The REACH Fund of Connecticut’s yearly Halloween pet costume contest, I developed the idea for a pet mascot contest as a social media fundraising campaign. My role has involved directing campaign creative strategy, supervising the Development Assistant’s drafting of email and social media content, and supporting participants.
Both years this campaign has run, it has surpassed its defined fundraising goals, by 130% in 2024 and 300% in 2025.
